Ah, I got it. Well the car accident was probably another incident that was not reported on the Carfax. I have to ask the current owner again why it wasn't reported. He did mention that a shopping cart hit one of the fenders and the owner at that time went through their insurance to get the car repaired, so that is where that report came from.

Alright so right now I am debating between the 02' with 80K and on its 4th owner or there is another one in Los Angeles an 00' with 76K with 1 owner. The one with the replaced motor is not something that I am too set on right now, but will keep it as a backup. Anyhow the owner of that car is not even responding to my emails.

OK this will probably be my last question:

I am deciding between 3 different cars now.

1) 2002 84K miles
- Located in Fresno so have to take a bus there and drive back
- Very clean, but still have to check the Carfax
- $11,000

2) 2002 81K miles
- Accident with "fixed object" reported on Carfax
- Located in San Fran so have to fly there and drive back
- $10,500

3) 2000 76K miles
- Clean EVERYTHING (Carfax, one owner, lady driven, weekender)
- Glass rear window
- One hour drive from me
- $11,500 (I am trying to go for $11,000)

Which one would you go for?

I'd either go for the 2000 and offer $10500 or the 2002 with 84K miles and offer $10500. The 2000 model is a little bit pricey in my opinion but if its only had one owner and its in excellent shape then I wouldnt hesitate paying that much for it. I'd stay away from the one that was in an accident.

Dangit. The seller of the 00' doesn't want to come down from $11,900. Boohoo.
