You don't want to startle the cat once he's on your car. That would probably guarantee (how's that for a wishy-washy declarative) a nasty scratch.

Yeah, there are a lot of hardwoods around here. I left my top down and ran into a neighbor's house for a moment. When I came back, there was a squirrel chowing down in the passenger seat. My first thought: "If I don't kill him where he sits, he's going to scratch something getting out of the car..."

This one usually sleeps under my car, but I found it on my hood the other night.

Got a pic of it sleeping in my front walkway this morning.

Very friendly neighbor's dog runs over shortly after I bring the S2000 home, goes to rear up and put front paws on top of door to get petted -- I grab front paws in mid-air.

Put tin-foil on your roof, cats hate it for some reason. My friends mom uses it in the house to keep the cats off the counters. I don't know what they big deal is, but they dont like it.
