Default Annoying Problem...Pls Help

To make a long story short, I purchased ricks clear diffusers for the headlights around a month ago. Everything went fine, had no problems that day. A couple of days later, I notice that one of my headlights are getting humidity inside of it(prob cause it rained for 2 days str8). I then took the headlight off the next day I could when the weather permitted me and blow dryed the inside of it and siliconed the headlight again. I put it back, seemed to work until 1 1/2 later when im washing my car, the headlight gets humidity again. I took it out again and looked through the hole headlight and couldn't see where the opening is. There was probably an 1 ounce of water build up inside. It had a little puddle inside when you turned the headlight facing upwards. I had to blow dry the inside again and I just put it back. What else could i do to help this situation. Is their another product I could use to help me with this. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thank you

Drill a small hole near the bottom of the headlight to allow the water/humidity to escape?

Take it out and reseal it. You need to put on a ton of silicone sealant. Actually when I first cleared my headlight, I did a piss poor job with the driver's side and a beautiful job on the passenger's side. I hardly used any new silicone on the passenger side. I think I have to pull the driver's side and put on a ton of sealant. My left headlight has light condensation after washing, but I am too lazy to reseal it.

You dont need to drill a hole.. I know exactly what you are going through. I too purchased ricks product and had problems numerous times with the right side headlight. I first resealed the outside. Didnt work. Then I opened it and resealed it again.. still didnt work.. Then I resealed it over again since i didnt want to open it again. Still didnt work. Finally, I opened the headlight again, resealed it and sealed all the plug ins for the bulbs by the outside and it did the trick. Its been great for a month and I live in florida where the humidity is horrible for not properly sealed headlights. Hope it helps.

I recommend flowable silicone for resealing the headlights. Flowable silicone will seep into the nooks and crannies, and seal it up airtight.

I don't think the headlight s can be split again after sealing with silicone.

I cleared mine about 3 years ago, with no leaks or other problems.
