Glad you are ok. Seems fixable from the pics but it will all depend on further inspection. I could see the frame being bent based on that type of impact.

Best of luck to you and hope it all turns out well!

Was she distracted or just an idiot? I would have killed her.
Oh, to say that I was pissed would be an understatement, but I had to make sure she was ok first- the impact blew the side curtain airbags on her car and buckled in the doors on the passenger side pretty good. Plus, I'm a big black dude- 6'1", 245 lbs. I'm pretty sure she was already scared to death of me once she realized what she'd done.

Id say so even your shadow looks scary

Glad you're ok!! If the frame rails are ok, then totally fixable!

Totally fixable, from what I can see in the pics. But it will be expensive, so whether insurance is willing to pay is up in the air.

It does look fixable from the pics, but it's going to expensive (like more than $7000, assuming no frame damage). If the airbags didn't go off, and both doors open right, the car's probably in good shape.

If there's any frame damage, it'll likely be totalled.

Still waiting on word back from USAA and the other drivers' insurance companies on what's going to happen... I'm having my good friend/ drinking buddy/ lawyer contact them tomorrow morning, so we'll see what happens.

Glad you are okay, and so is the other driver. And as far as being totalled, if this was an ap1, it would have been totalled. But depending on how low your mileage is and how high your MY is, you have better chances of getting her fixed.

I'm thinking the hood, passenger fender, both headlights and front bumper need replacing. Not sure if the radiator/fan/ac condendser got damaged, if not I'm thinking around $1000-$1500 in parts+paint

any damage to suspension area?
