Default Another spring spacer sighting

I know I looked for them when I bought the car, but last night, I heard a squeak from the lower front end of the car, got my flash light and took a peek......saw that little bugger in between the spring coils.

Took it into the dealer, made a big fuss on the phone and when I got there, they lifted the car, and bam, found two more in the rear passenger side.

Total of 3 removed, one from the passenger front and 2 from the passenger rear. They offered a 2 year extended warranty on the entire suspension for free and gave me a deal on the install of my future hard top (free installation).

Oh by the way, the squeak is conveniently still there, I'll be returning tomorrow afternoon.

can there be any damage to the suspension if the spacers are left in there over time?

I really don't see any damange happening to the suspension (or anything for that matter), but hey, I'm not a mechanic. I asked them to throw in that warranty just for my own comfort.

Anyways, this was at concord honda. Good people, granted they don't see many S2000's in their service area, they sell lots of them.

Concord Honda?

I was dropping my S2000 off last night to fix the shitty idle and parked behind a blue S2000. A friend of mine works there as said there were spring spacers left in it!

daveunderwood......hello, that blue would be.......
I just spent 3 hour there, finding the source of the squeaking and to fix a little steering wheel rattle. They got both of them, no more rattles, squeak free, and bye bye spring spacers.

So who do you know that works there? Or are you not at liberty to say?

Kieth Gillman was the service guy, Tom and George were the mechanics.

We did notice your s2k, with the rims and all, and we all were drawn to the liscense plate, and that little colored square, you know what i'm referring to. That is the most valuable object on that car...(hehe)

Today when I went back, I saw yours sitting in the back, waiting to be attended to (12:30pm Thursday). Unless it was already done.

See ya later........

The guy I know is Victor, he just started awhile ago. We were joking about all the reports of spring spacers being left in cars by doofus dealers

Mine's in for the third or forth time (did I say doofus dealers) to fix the shitty idle. It sometimes idles so low the motor rattles or dies, but never at the dealer!!! I'm also getting the drivers door panel replaced for the second time, it's cracked below the arm rest.

I asked if the new blue one was there to replace mine

Got a rental car today while they try to get my car to muff up for them.

And about the plates, I get preferential parking everywhere I go! Motorcycle wreck years ago...
