Default Antenna

My antenna seems to work just fine. However, I noticed that when I bend it, I can feel something like a joint in the middle of it. The plastic outer antenna housing sheathes some sort of metal component. Is it supposed to feel like one piece, or like one piece with a joint in the middle, or like two pieces?

Just wondering....

I think it has an internal spring that moves around inside when you bend it.

Well, seeing how you have 328 mi on the odo, its probably just that the antenna hasn't finished developing yet. Once you hit 1,200 mi it will firm up nicely....

Its probably bendable inside the plastic so it doesn't snap. Why were you bending it btw?

Only thing about the antennas that I can tell you is WATCH OUT FOR THE VW GUYS!!!!

Havin owned 5 VWs myself I can tell you S2000 antennas are a hot commodity and are stolen *quite* frequently. They also like H2 antennie but not as much.

Mine doesn't bend in the middle when it's up. Oh wait, you are talking about something else.
