Anyone else dislike the start button?
No big deal either way. Not really preferable but a car deserves a few idiosyncratic features (if the car was French, they would have put the start button in the glove box).
I've said it before, what bothers me is when I get into my wife's RSX-S, I keep pressing the mirror-adjustment button and the dang car won't start.

Nah, it just amazes me how two Honda products share so little DNA. Similar weight, displacement, HP, both "enthusiast cars" but I have not found a single part or feature in common unless you count lack of torque. I would have thought they'd at least used the same exterior door handles. Or the start button.
Sounds like your experience on the Club RSX forum mirrors mine.

Damn ive missed Viper, it just hasnt been the same without you! We need some old day S2KI, where Steve-C was the whole reason I would log in and admins had fun and joked with us.... things just arent the same anymore.
As for me, I've acquired a splinter up my ass, too, since my experiences from 2 years ago. I'll still help out S2000 owners but only the few where my alarms don't go off into double digit "Danger Will Robinson" territory or "Watch Out, Stupid Lives Here" zone. I won't be gang banged again. I'm a harsher, grumpier, more sarcastic and at times, more caustic "me". Diplomacy? WTF is that? Payback's a bitch.
In the thread that asked, "What do you dislike the most about your s2000" I said, "having to insert and turn the key to PUSH START the car".
I agree with OP. And I'm sure we're not the only two. I don't care if it had a standard key starter or a push button, I just don't want them both mixed.
