Anyone else dislike the start button?
How many people don't like it when some one asks a question like this? Can we just get rid if them and get another?
I always think... WTF? Seriously?
Mommy I don't like my chocolate milk in the carton. Then you know what? Take your little whiny self down to the cow factory and have them put in your little nasty ass hands.
Just don't start the damn car then.
Yeah I'm irked that he's irked about a damn starter button.

Ya, it's just a damn button. Sheesh.
A '47 Dodge had a start button under the accelerator pedal. Prime the carb and start the car all at the same time. The car was a fluid flow 3 speed stick shift or if you didn't want to shift ,put the stick in 3d and drive it as an automatic. Are we really progressing in automation? I think the S2000 proves we aren't. Oh for the good 'ol days.
Hey I really not that mean! Just good fun! Like someone walking around with a kick me sign when you are in the 7th grade. Neon001 please come back, and say something on the same par. We have all had so much fun kicking you!

The original design S2000 is right hand drive. The start button is close to the shifter. If you spun on a track and/or stalled, you would reach with your left hand, restart the car, reach back to the shifter, and go. Fumbling for a flimsy key to turn while adrenaline is pumping and your wearing a set of fire proof gloves isn't easy. This is why all true race cars do not have keys. Honda had to include a key cyclinder because the cars would be used on the street. The key cyclinder prevents theft. It locks the column, stops unauthorized persons from activating the ignition, and enables the use of the immobizer system. The lack of a new style push start system makes the car more reliable for track use.

Plus its nice that you can put the key in and hit the button with one hand. I would much rather have that..
Either way I love it.
