Anyone else have problems with the rear dif?

Just curious if its a common problem..

I never drag race my car or anything, autocross here and there but never really dropping the clutch or anything..

Its been making a grinding noise for a while finally it blew out on me..

Anyone?

This seems to be more common than one would think. Have you had your differential fluid changed lately?

how do you know it went out? What are the obvious signs? Nothing wrong with mine but just wondering.

mine leaked from one of the seals. mechanic said if i didnt catch it as soon as i did might have caused problems. seen the leak while installing exhaust
