Anyone else have problems with the rear dif?

I think I head something about this as well. All cars have their weak point. wrx & evo = transmission. Focus SVT = DSI Cable. Honda CR-V = Catching on fire. Kia Rio = Everything. Any ideas about aftermarket differentials to correct our car's weakest link?
Do you have a beefy clutch in there for any reason?
A local guy went through 3....yes 3 diff's because he had some stage 3 ceramic clutch in and it just hammered the drivetrain.
Also, do you downshift a lot without revmatching? I think often times people's driving styles attribute to unknown stress on the drivetrain.
Keep in mind that 'dumping the clutch' isnt as bad as you think, IF the tires give. Hell, an 8k clutch drop ought to spin the tires, where a 4k drop, may just bog. When you bog, all that power from the engine is absorbed in the drivetrain... Something has to give, I'd rather it be the tires.
yeah its pretty common. the one of the only weak points of the s200 is the diff. Lots of poeple with s2000 just completely blow the rear diffs out just from high millage and maybe a hard 1st to 2nd gear shift. Happened to my brother in his ap1
Very common and easily the weakest link the drivetrain.
For those with the $$ InlinePro makes an R200 diff conversion kit which is insanely expensive (IIRC 3K+, no diff included). The R200 is a bulletproof Nissan pumpkin found in pretty much everything they made in the 80s/90s.
