Retainer clip broke on the valve........sucked the valve into the top of the piston...........banged a hole in the piston and so on and so on.
Unfortunately this is a common way for this engine to die. It lived a good long life for me. I am proud of it and have it in the shop as we speak getting another one put in. I just can't see driving anything else.

for my car having so many miles it was well taken care of....the engine bay was spotless and it dosent smoke or anything, im the 3rd owner of her...the ppl b4 me were old men and took extra good care of her...just curious when i can get my badge lol
does that do a significant price drop in selling a s2000? 200k is alot but a well taken care of car will run forever yakno? just would like to see some input on this....obviously it will but how bad?
