Almost at 100k for the second time. I'm at 96k and my clutch just started slipping, I could probably use a new diff too.

You guys beAting on your cars or don't know how to drive OR is it a known issue with the Tranny?

101,000 miles here On 2004 AP2

I see lots transmissions replaced
Dmitriy- My original trans was still good, I just figured what better time to swap out to an AP2 trans then when getting a new motor and clutch. My OE clutch lasted about 170k miles until the T/O bearing exploded.
Ap1 motor + Ap2 trans + 4.77 =

BTW, when are you going to come back and visit? Pavs isn't the same without you buddy.

im just about to reach 90k miles, but want to do some "early" long-term maintenance.

I'm thinking about doing
1) valve adjustment
2) spark plug change
3) engine filter (there is one right?)
4) standard oil change

Anything else you high-mile guys could suggest?

thanks!

^^ Of course there is an engine air filter, or did you mean cabin air filter? And don't forget trans. fluid, diff. fluid, brake flush, and clutch flush, TCT.

yeah, i ll add diff fluid swap. Just did transmission so Ill be good there.

I swapped the cabin air filter, but is there an "engine air filter" that needs to be replaced often?
