Anyone had enough and would rather drive a Civic?
Modding can sometimes burn out, hence people going back to stock form for awhile. One of the things I've really enjoyed is that the used parts sell fast within the community so it's fairly easy to go back to stock and be worry free for a while.
Why not just have a worry free S....instead of a worry free Civic?

I had surgery a few months back. I was stiff; couldn't turn my head, driving the S just hurt. I borrowed my mom's 93 camry automatic, soft leather seats, soft suspension. It was so comfortable while I was in pain, but other than that, the S is the perfect car for me.

That also means you should look for used mods that don't wear/tear badly. You can sometimes find some good bargains!
I understand the desire to trade up for something.. simpler to drive. I miss being able to beat on a car, wash it at gas stations, etc etc, but when I drop the top and the Vtec kicks in, all is forgotten.
But trade it in for a Civic.. not going to happen, unless Civics start coming in a trim with rwd and a turbo. I said it somewhere else, but if Nissan brought the S15 to the states, that's what I'd be driving no question.

My DD is a 2005 Civic EX - not a bad little car for putting to work, around, town and on trips. Most of my tinkering/modding will probably happen on that car to improve it's "fun driving factor"
However, when I slip into the S2000.........wow. At this point, I feel it's about as perfect as a car can get - no tinkering here (at least until the warranty expires)
Top down therapy - I'll never get tired of it.
Other vehicle is a 2002 Explorer - P.O.S. - when it dies I'll get that Toyota FJ - great all around vehicle on and off road.
