i posted something a few days ago about my CEL. Thanks to Xviper ( spelling ). He was kind enough to give me some advice on what it could be. I had just installed AEM CAI last week, and changed oil to full syn. a few days ago, the CEL came on, i thought it could be my intake. all the vaccum lines might be crossed.. but that wasn't the case. The lines were a little loose so i got new ones. got the CEL rest. By the way the first time it pulled P1457 code. didnt' know what it was.. the next day CEL came on again.. pulled the same code. P1457. After some research, i found out that there is a TSB for EVAP emission. Service Bulletin 03-001: MIL Comes On With DTC P1457: EVAP Bypass Solenoid Valve Failure. Anyone know what that is?? anyway, so i took my car to Curry Honda located in GA. they told me they couldn't find any problem on my car. They done some testing and checking, still have no idea what it was. They even had to called someone else for advice. They told me this is the first time they got a S2000 with that code. No part was replaced in my car, it might be a computer glitch ( so they said ). Has anyone had the same problem before? any help would be appreciated.

 

I've not had that problem but it seems that the AEM CAI would be suspect. I'm surprised Curry Honda didn't take issue with that. Maybe you should post in the "under the hood" forum, you may get more answers there.
