So I was in the auto parts store today picking up one of those "Absorber Towels", aluminum polish (Engine, wheels, and tips), and convertible top cleaner.

While checking out, I noticed this little guage cluster that looked like it might fir in the car. The gauges are small enough (1.5 inch diameter) thatI thought, maybe I can get these into the S2K. The guages were an oil pressure, oil temp, and a water temp.

Has anyone installed the sensors for something like this in the S2K? It is hard, or would it require too much drilling? Are there easy points to install the pickups for these thing?

If anyone has, where did you put these things in the dash? Pics would be greatly appreciated.

 

I would think that the 1.5 inch gauges are small enough for a pillar mount. I really don

 

There was a thread on H-A net about using a pillar mount gauge housing for the Integra in the S. Apparently it fits just fine and I know at least one of the participants on this board has them.

Anyone know the details?

 

I'll have to go back and check on the brand. I do recall that the set of 3 was about $70. It came with a mounting bracket, but it was horizontally oriented and I'm not sure where it would go on the S2K.

I wonder if you could place then in the dash where the GPS would be in the Japanese models. Hmmm....
