AAAaaarrrghhh. Let's stop the madness!! Honda hasn't made any official announcements as to when production of the S2000 will stop - until then, let's just enjoy our cars, and be glad that Honda produced it. Honda will have something to replace the S2000 once it's done its' production run (something other than the NSX)

I doubt if the S2000 is making a serious dent in either direction on Honda's balance sheet. If the 'limited" numbers translate into non-profitability, then the NSX must be the loser of all time, with just over 17,000 being produced since its inception.

But the argument here is that Honda itself aren't making money while the dealer is. So your argument is really just supporting the fact that it is the dealerships that make money. It is the dealership that pays your dad not Honda.
