In the interest of further eliminating wind getting into the cockpit, has anyone tried plugging up the roll hoop holes? Surely there's a few ways to approach this.
One idea I had was to take two plexiglass cutouts slightly bigger than the actual roll hoop hole, place one cutout on each side of one of the holes and screw the two pieces together. Not sure if that will make sense to those who read this.
But anyway... as always I'm looking for things to take up my spare time and this is one of them. Anyone?

Hate to be a naysayer, but, why would anyone want to put extra mass behind their head.
In the event of a significant frontal accident the acceleration forces on the speaker could exceed the mesh screen's structual limits.
In other words, the speaker would nail you in the back of your head. Not much fun!
Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like the the sound of the exhaust and find I use that mute button (almost) more than any other control (clutch and shifter combo being number 1).
Then again, I don't have a clock in my car either.
