I've still never heard that one either...if that was the case, if you had no wax on your car then wouldn't it strip the finish itself?

I use a P21S drying towel (synthetic chamois) followed up with aMicro-fiber towel for any remaining water spots and the fabric top.

Wrings out and stores neatly in some small ziplock bags in the trunk.

I bought a water blade a while ago, but never use it. To me it wasn't as effective as the above combination.

The only way I could see that is if[LIST]

I use the chamois just to get the majority of the water off. Then it's the clean towels and a fresh coat or two of Zaino Z2. Course that's the wifes V6. My stook will probably get dried by vestal virgins wearing clean terry cloth dresses. After which, they will have to be sacrificed in some kind of ritual stook ceremony. I'm really obsessed.
