Ok, so waht is your point? I asked questions about body kits. Is someting wrong with that? I believe the only threads I amde were for the fitment for the APR widebody kit and information on the Tracy Sports widebody kit. I don't see how that is lacking in "basic knowledge" when I was jsut trying to gain some info, which is always for the better. Geez.
I finally see what people mean by saying the s2000 is the new civic.Just drop it, and so will I. Buy and drive what you want.
damn you guys are funny making assumption that he might crash his car or something. im a freshmen in college, my dad bought me my first S when i was a sophmore in high school. i still have it ever since with no accident/incident whatsoever.
o yea hate on me but my dad also bought me a lexus 350 as my daily driving car.
just because the kid is still in highschool doesnt mean he doesnt have any knowledge on how to be smart driving his S

Doesn't change the fact that you're spoiled. If you are a sophmore in highschool with a s2000 and didn't damage it in any way throughout your high school life, then you're either not driving the car hard(which means you're just looking cool in a nice car), or you're just an amazing driver at a very young age. If it's the latter then I've nothing to say, but if you belong in the first category then you don't deserve the car.

Once again, I would say something but please take this somewhere else...
I wasn't even directing it at you, but spoiled kids in general..
But okay as you wish, I will stay out of your topic. Have fun with your car.
Facts are Facts. AP1 owners will defend their car, using anything to make it so it's better. Why they do that, I don't truly understand, because before I even thought of the idea of getting a new one, I always said the AP2 was a better car, but didn't care because I was happy and secure with my vehicle. AP2 owners will also defend their car at all costs, pointing out every upgrade, it being newer, ect ect. All that you are left with is a subjective opinionated stupid argument.
The rare people like Red-MX5, although owns an AP1 is aware of the things done to improve the car both in livability and creature comforts, but is secure enough with his original car to offer objective advice, while offering his opinion without making it sound like a fact. He loves his car, and is happy with it, and wouldn't want an AP2. The fact is, the newer the better, if you can afford it.
Someone like me. I owned an AP1 for 5 years, and just found the AP2 to be better looking inside and out, loved the upgrades done to the car, and just think it's a better overall car, so the switch pleased me greatly. It being brand new as opposed to my 5 year old car really is what sets it apart though. The newer the better. Most is just an opinion, but any S2000 is a great car. When used it depends on mileage and condition.
The other things like looks, upgrades, the way it drives, ect ect, is just opinion, and people on here need to learn to be happy with their car, and not use bias defense to justify their purchase, and the car they own. That is all.
Good luck with your purchase.
