Thumbs up ARC induction box

I was wondering if anyone is running ARC intake system on US s2000?
how does it feel compare to stock? loud?
how hard was it to install? Any drilling, cutting required?
does it clear strut bars?
thanks

Try searching.

It will fit most strut bars.
It's a little louder.
Little to now power gains because of heat soak (hot air intake).
Easy to install.

It's a bling bling JDM mod. If you want hp, don't get it.

ARC is good for amazing throttle response. if you get one(i have one for(pending)sale), make sure and invest in heatsheilds and the like. wyatt is right once that think heats up, its all over...

It's by far the nicest looking intake.
For heatshields - go to www.spugen.com and check out their radiator plates, heatshields (in front of the engine facing the intake like Ztec), and make sure your header heatshield is still on. If you live in a cooler climate with those heat shields, it can probably be an okay intake. If you stop a lot, the engine bay really warms up. Once you're moving, it's a lot better.
PM versionJDM if you're interested in his ARC. I sold it to him, so I can vouche he's a good guy and that the intake is in awesome condition.

One of our locals is selling his. I've had one before. Definitely major bling. Heatsoak is not a huge issue, but I like my Injen better.

I just look @ both heatshields one from Ztec and One from spugen and they look identical, only difference is the material!! One CF and one Aluminium, big price difference though!! Got to think about what Kind of a set up I want see if the CF is worth the money!!

Ztec
spugen

thanks for all the info!
