Which is better. This guy at work is obsessed with the Audi TT even though he has an S2K. Please help me get him on the right track. I truly believe the Honda is a piece of work 2nd to none. He is always on this board so hopefully he will see this.

 

personally i don't think theres much of a comparison.. especially performance wise, look at the stats. and looks wise.. i think the audi takes an aquired tastes which is about the same to me as a aquired taste for potted meat.

 

Well, the TT is about looks, the S2K is about a true sports car.

The TT looks great, but has a much more flexible chassis, even with Quattro is more of a front driver than rear, the car is a turboed engine and has turbo lag. Did I mention it looks cool though?

Nothing but a fancy convertible Beetle. The S2000 is the real sports car.

 

The audi is a toy, it looks like an upsidedown soap dish.

The S2000 is a beautiful design as well as an incredible performer.

And those baseball glove stitched seats....jeez...

 

The AUDI TT is nothing but a VW Bug! Refrain from even looking at it!

 

TT is about how to make a car ugly but cute.
TT roadster is about how to make a cute car extremely ugly.
There is nothing special other than that.
If that ugliness turns out to be beauty for you, than you could be obsessed with it.

Oh the Audi TT is a nice ride, but it doesn't even come close to S2K performance. With an available 180 or upgraded 225 HP engine, it's not touching the S2K. The 225 HP model might come close, but the S2K is better. Nice looks though, very stylish. Girls seem to really like the Audi TT's though, but I've never had one not want to ride in my S2K!

 

Ya see this guys problem is that he is fighting his sexuality and would feel more comfortable in an Audi, which IMO is a chick car.

 

The difference is plain and simple, the TT is a luxury car, not a sports car...the S2K is a sports car, not a luxury one...it depends on what you want.
