The Audi is a supermodel; the stook is a superathlete.

I wasn't going to say anything here, but I absoiutely hated the looks (inside and out) of the TT when I first saw one. They have grown on me somewhat and now I just they are dopey looking. I did race one on the highway once and beat it handily. So it's dopey looking and doesn't really perform that well. Some people think it's cute, mostly girls.

A friend was looking at cars recently and she looked at the TT, Boxster and M Coupe. She picked the M Coupe...but she's a lesbian, so who knows what she's thinking.

I would hesitate to call the TT a "luxury" car nor would I call it a sports car. I think it's just an oddly designed girl's car.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

I own both, 2001 TTQC & 2001 s2k. I do think the TT is a "chick" car. Being a chick I'm ok with that.

I AutoXed my TT all this year and have come to the conclusion she's a wonderful luxury "sedan". My 6 month old TT has 17K miles on it. After AutoXing my s2k for the first time 2 weeks ago- well I'm in love with the other woman, she's perfect. But very different cars for different needs.

TT = Wife s2k = Mistress. I think they are both very beautiful, just one gets "flogged" a little harder than the other.

Hehe... I wouldn't know anything about that flogging! Juliann's one of my partners in crime. We bought the S2000 together to autocross for 2001, along with 'soloiiracer' (Brad). I've driven both cars, both on the autocross course and on the street... and they don't compare.

The TT is a design study... a work of modern art on wheels. It makes a statment with it's looks, and has formidable performance. It's main goal is luxury, and it's at home at 140 on the autobahn.

The S2000 is a sports car... a very clean cut and functional design which is backed up by tradition sports car layout (roadser, FR, etc.) and uncompromising performance. A true driver's car, with a pretty face to boot.

And I'm sure Jules would love to go into more detail about the 'flogging.' Just leave out that missed launch!
