Audi TT vs. S2K
I just cannot believe S2000 owners are even prepared to mention the VW Golf (TT) in the same breath. I certainly won't include its name in the same sentence as Stook.
The TT is a Golf with a corpulent bloated body that looks like it was designed in the 40s. It is not streamlined, it is just a blob and I think it is the ugliest creation that ever came off an auto designer's work sheet.
I think I have mentioned this before but I have a co-worker who deigns to downgrade the calibre of our vehicle fleet by parking his TT convertible in the same underground garage as I park in. I revel in asking him how the 'dub is going. There is just no accounting for bad taste!
What I can't understand, however, is why anyone thinks there is anything attractive about it - because there ain't.

IMO the TT is the most courageous act of automobile design acheived in the last decade. When it first came out, I was astonished by the outrageous beauty of its lines, by the low and bulldog-like general look of the car.
Now, 2 years later, I see about 30-40 TT's a day in paris, and my never-ending quest for exclusivity made me turn away from buying one, not to mention my long-term love affair with honda...
Audi's is the ONLY car manufacturer in the world to build only good-looking cars (a2, a3, a4, a6, a8, s versions, all perfect) However, in the USA, I've noticed that a4's & a6's have ugly bumpers, destroying the overall line of the car, due to that low-speed crash law that requires bigger bumpers. (80's volvos look especially different in the states).
