On the drivers side, there is a fuse block behind the kick panel. It has three accessory taps (spade terminals) sticking out.

If I remember correctly you hook a wire to the one closest to the firewall but just use a voltmeter to see which one has twelve volts with ignition on. One is always hot, one is hot with the park lights on, the other is hot with the ignition on.

Then just use the factory ground or the hood release bracket (which is easier to get too.

It is really very simple no splicing wires at all just crimp a couple connectors and run the wire.

I installed mine about a month ago and absolutely love it.
