That sucker looks like it weighs about 5,000 pounds, which is probably why it needs 750 horses.

750 HP! That's taking engineering in the right direction in a world with increasingly scarce resources. But what else would you expect from General Motors, whose cars have the worst fleet fuel economy in the world (after Chrysler and Ford).

Also, the Cien's mpg is pretty irrelevant as (a) it is a concept car, not a production car and (b) even if made it would be in such small numbers as to have no impact. Just like the above Ferraris, etc.
If one wants to blame someone for the number one factor in low mpg, I'd look at the buyers.
Still, I too would like to see a more engineering resources and company pride allocated to economy & environment rather than just a rather over-the-top hp race.
Shouldn't this be in car talk?

looks more like a pixelated murcielago to me

if you watch the videos, it seems like more effort was put into the theatrics of the unveiling than the actual cars
I was at the Detroit Auto show and the Caddy was damn sweet. I was very impressed at the exterior and interior. The Rolls Royce was nice as well. And they had two Lambo's. Porsche was rather boring, I hated their SUV, I don't care how fast it goes. Honda didn't have anything new, and toyota was the worst. American automakers took the show I must admit with the Mustang and the Caddy. The mustang was very unique. It looks a lot better in person. I like the front and the interior was nice too. a lot a character. The Chevy SS concept was lame as hell though.
