I average around 24mpg-mixed driving.

 

I got some special magnets for my fuel line and I am now getting 50 miles per gallon

Actually I am getting about 24 miles to the gallon, I did once hit 30 miles per gallon on a trip but I was driving pretty slowly. I noticed a big difference when I am driving 75mph vs 65mph.

Is it just me or my car gets really bad mileage. I get around 16Mpg city driving and around 20 on the highway. That is on stop and go traffic with lotsa VTEC and 1st-3rd gear pulls

 

the past few tanks ive been averaging 15-16mpg in the city, with 14.xmpg being the worst.

 

I get effed with too many commutes going uphill and traffic lights.

 

The miles per gallon calculated per tankful usually isn't a real accurate indicator of the overall mpg that your car gets. Generally it is much more accurate to measure it over time in order to minimize the variances such as traffic, driving conditions, load, weather and etc.

I have kept a record of every drop of gas that has gone into my car from the day I took it home with 7 miles on the odometer on August 12, 2002. In 30,871 miles I've gotten an average of 22.66 miles per gallon. My best tankful was 34.87 and my worst was 18.57. In general my driving is mixed of about 60% highway/US Highway 40% traffic & commute. My best tankful happened on an extended highway drive going to an S2000 meet and my worst tankful happened during a drive during an S2000 meet.

 

how do youguys get above 25+ out of S?
must not hitting Vtec enough... i do mainly highway driving but barely get low 20s

 

i used to get about 26mpg. now with a more aggressive alignment and sticker non-staggered tires, i probably get 23 mpg. this is with local and freeway mix.

i get about 23-mpg.

 

ive probably gotten about 25 mpg lifetime. i noticed that the more miles i put on it, the better gas mileage i have gotten. i now have about 31k my 08 s2k
