Default Back from the dyno for the 1st time

Hey guys i recently got an '01 ap1 and just got a berk test pipe so i wanted to get some before and after dyno's. We come to realize that the car was EXTREMELY low on oil and had temp 5 spark plugs, i also went in for a valve adjustment since the valves were real noisy. Anyways i havent uploaded the graphs yet but the 1st run before i did all the work done was 170.2whp and 109.7 tq, looked like vtec didnt even kick in and had a sudden dip from 7000 to 7200. AFR of 15.36

after we did all the maintenance (oil change, new ngk spark plugs, valve adjustment) and installed the test pipe we got it up to 178whp and 114.7 tq, in both charts the power dropped off at about 8150. Overall im a bit dissappointed as i was shooting for 200 but i do think i was heatsoaking a bit (it was about 90 degrees today), and i heard the dyno has a tendency to read a little low. The afr in both charts are perfectly flat and the tq line also looks pretty good, my next step is to get a vafc and get it tuned.

Anybody have any suggestions or thoughts as to why its so low? Engine has 70,000 miles. Stock except test pipe.

I would suggest getting the new AFC NEO Controler instead of the VAFC. I have it on my S2K and I love it. I have 210.55 whp but also have AEM CAI, TP & Skunk2 Dual Exhaust.

i think its called DYNOmite... and isnt the neo pretty much the same thing as the vafc2? with just a few more increments for fuel?

Don't feel bad, I dynoed very similar numbers. IMO It's better to dyno lower so that you can get a realistic number.
