backfire

it's called afterburn!! get it right!
backfire is when you get combustion comming out through the intake.
very common on older badly tunned carburetors.
AFTERBURN occurs when unburned or partially burned fuel exits the tail pipe and ignites when it mixes with oxygen.
can be done easily with ap1's and test pipe. stock ap1 runs rich in the upper rev range. bounce off the limiter in your test pipe equiped ap1, and you'll get plenty of afterburn.
is it legal? hell f**ing no! if you dont belive me then enjoy that ticket you're about to get for illegally removing you catalyst converter.

With my set up it backfires when the car is first started. It usually backfires two or three times and then stops once it warms up.

i get some pops when i accelerate in first gear and release my peddle. while the rpm drops, it gives a few pops.
