Here's the details of my recent (and ongoing) unsatisfactory experience with ordering a product from the S2Ki Marketplace:
I ordered a Comptech foam filter for a stock airbox a couple of weeks ago, which arrived more or less in the time frame expected via UPS. I called and left a message on Rylan Hazelton's voicemail advising that the online invoice indicated shipping would be Canada Post Ground, and had I known they were going to use UPS I would not have ordered from them. (UPS into Canada is horrible compared to FedEx, which I have used to bring car parts into the country literally dozens of times.) My message registered my complaint that they didn't use the shipper they said they would, and that I wouldn't be ordering anything again if he used UPS; he could call me if he wanted to discuss. Never heard a word from Rylan or anyone else at Go Fast Labs. (In the fine print elsewhere in the Marketplace, they do say they reserve the right to use an alternate shipper...but why not just say what shipper they actually plan to use?)
When I picked up the shipment from the UPS depot, the Parts List on the install instructions from Comptech showed there should be a filter adaptor. There was no adaptor in the box...and the filter I had received looked nothing like the photo on the Comptech s2000 product sheet.
That evening (Monday, April 17) I called Ryan's/Go Fast Lab's number again and got his voicemail. Left a message telling him I was unhappy that there was no adaptor in the shipment and I wanted to know what they were going to do. I noted that while on the Website there was a note saying he was off to the Open Track Challenge, I expected that someone there should at least be checking voicemail and that I wanted a call back within 24 hours. If he wasn't picking up voicemail...well, he was free to run his business any way he wants, and I would express my displeasure online if I didn't get some satisfaction. Well it's now 6 days later (and a day after the website note said the Marketplace would be reopened) , and I haven't heard a word from Rylan or anyone else at Go Fast Labs.
I've attached a couple of photos of the filter; can someone who has a Comptech foam filter for a stock airbox confirm that they even shipped the correct filter for an s2000.
Rylan is a one-man shop. If he says he'll be closed for the OTC, do you honestly expect a response in 24 hours, or are you looking for an excuse to get mad? I don't know anything about the comptech air filter, so I can't speak to that question.
I have also found several of my shipments changed carriers, and despite my getting frustrated at the time, I have never had a single problem with Rylan's service. If parts are missing, they have been replaced immediately without question. If delivery was late, he has made it up to me.
Basically, all I'm saying is that as far as I am concerned, Rylan is doing a great job. You can't expect Amazon.com speed from a one-man shop, but I dare any big company to compete with his customer service.
P.S. Never buy anything with the word 'Comptech' in the name.

Edit: I guess it's now a 2-man shop. Despite being slow, J.P. is also a good guy
That looks like the correct filter for a Comptech Ice Box. Is the stock filter the same? Might want to cross reference part #'s to make sure.
Both JP and Ry were out for the ENTIRE last week due to OTC related activities. This is probably an error on Comptech's end (lack of adapter). Comptech has had a little 'reorganization' lately and some items are shipping later.
Ry and JP have always helpful and upfront with parts and service. They both are good people.
I agree. Just relax. I ordered some things from Comptech recently, and they were on backorder. This was not the fault of the shop with which I dealt, rather Comptech is to "blame." Everytime I talk to someone who deals with Comptech, they tell me they are doing some "restructuring," and their staff is down to a minimum at the moment. I waited, and I got my stuff in great condition.
>>>For the record, since the product is shipped out of California, USA, there is no way it would ever ship via Canada Post.
Correct...a slip of the fingers...of course Canada Post could only be used if a shipment originated in Canada...I mean FedEx Canada Ground, which is the shipping method I selected on your e-com site.
