Depends.

What the low temp and max duration of exposure?

I've been to places where you don't turn the vehicle off all winter long (even change the oil while the vehicle is running with a special filter bypass).

My aunt knitted me a battery sweater a few years ago, but it was kinda baby blue ghey, so I never really used it. I put it on once to show her the fittment was pretty good.

you need to put more information in your post:
-is it cold where you have the car, nothing in your profile either
-do you intend to drive the car
-how old is the battery, 3years old might not make it no matter what you do
-is it outside, near a 110vac than put a trickle charge unit on it.
-if your not lazy you could put a over night charge on it every mo or so

people want to help but you got to think it through first.

Word G.

I was asking much the same questions as jah.

My duration question addresses things like:
do you plan to drive it?
how long will it sit in the cold? (at work for 8 hours, overnight at home, for a week)
do you garage it?
how cold does it get?
how cold will it be when you need to start it?

10F overnight is a bit different from -40F.

A block warmer is standard issue and the parking meters on the streets have 110 outlets.

At minus 40, if you park outside, the tires will have a flat spot on them that will make the car thumpity bump for a bit, especially when they get out of synch.

The electronics are sluggish and dim and everything in the car is like molasses from the from the shift to the clutch to the volume control.

Top down at minus 42 in Fairbanks AK.

Peace.

I am in Ohio and she is garaged(not a daily driver). It is around 25F here now and my other car said 54F when I left the garage. I may drive her every other week, or she might be in for three months(depends on the weather, snow, ice, or salt on the roads).
What kind of battery tender? and where to buy?

This is what I use. If you shop around it can be had cheaper.

I store two motorcycles, the S, and a commercial lawn tractor. I pull the batteries out of all of them and line them up on a bench in the garage. I hook the tender up to 1 battery, and once a week, I move it to the next battery. With 6 months of storage every year, I have been getting 6-9 years out of my batteries.
