Default Battery replacement?

My S2K turned 5 in August and I am wondering if I should get a new battery. I have a habit of using the hazards when I shut off the car and run into a store (Chicago is not a fun place to look for parking). Anywho, on occasion when I return - no more than 20 minutes - the car has not started. Earlier in the cars life, if this happened I would turn the hazards off and wait 5 minutes then try again - this would result in a reluctant start.

Have I used up all the juice? I know that running the car for a while will charge it back up but after a while is there a law of diminishing returns or something? Any tips would be gratefully appreciated....

:-)

Mine died in the first year, replaced under warranty. So 5 years sounds good to me.
