Expect to pay ~$700 for AP2 rims in great condition without tires, or worn tires.. hundred(s) more for good tires.

Every AP2 wheel set I've come across in the $3-400 range has been complete shit. Alexei's are probably the best I've seen.. and if you can live with that much damage, scoop them up.

craigslist...

I posted my '06 Si wheels on Craiglist and they were sold and paid for in 24 hours. I was selling them pretty cheap tho - $250 w/ 1 wheel that had 1" rash, other 3 were perfect, and mostly bald tires.

be weary of replicas they usually weigh alot more
Sorry, I love this quote...most of the time it is coming from guys that have over 150lbs of stereo equipment in their trunks, so what is a measly 6lbs more per wheel??

To even out the weight, just take out your spare tire and the tool kit....

I have no clue what the weight difference is between OEM and replicas, but keep in mind that wheels are **unsprung** mass. An increase in unsprung mass almost always has a more significant effect on handling than the same increase in sprung mass.

IIRC, when I put on my AP2 V1s with OEM RE050s, each wheel/tire combo weighed right around 40 lbs (front and rear were about the same -- weird). I wonder how much a replica wheel/tire combo weighs?

And I don't have 150 lbs of stereo gear in my trunk either

i got some ap2 v2 rims lying around in my backyard. tires are only 15000 miles on them, still the oem tires and the rims have no curb rash. no one wants to buy em for the price i want and everyone just low balls me so i figured i'd just keep em for a spare set. i mean hell, i could use em when my tires go out
