Best summer mod? Replacing the crappy stock speakers with ones you can hear with the top down.

I've heard different things when it comes to these mods. Such as it doesnt reduce the maximum operating temp, just the minimum.

Not sure what proof there is out there, but I would imagine the car runs just as fine, with no less wear/performance at 180 deg coolant, vs say 205 degree? Maybe a SLIGHT performance gain due to hardly dicernable lower temp?

I understand where the throttle body coolant bypass and hondata intake MFG would help, but the fan switch and thermostat?

Has anyone tracked their car with and without those mods?

I'm here in AZ and worry sometimes about the heat. I think its hard though to compare these mods with just using the stock temp gauge..ESP in AP1....

I have a water temp gauge and see 210 on occasion in stop and go. Made a mountain run at 106F OAT and ran pretty hard for 10 min or so uphill and never got above 220. I'm all stock except for throttle body bypass.

Do you think a fan switch and thermostat would help in those conditions or just lower the temp in stop and go, or daily driving?
