My trunk won't open from the inside help!

Default My trunk won't open from the inside help!

I don't know what happen couple days ago its still work but yesterday i tried to remove the dynamat around the trunk area and now I cannot open my trunk from the inside anymore. Every single time i need to use a key to open it. Thank you for your help.

not tryin to be rude or anything but why don't u just go to a dealershiip and get it covered under warranty.

Check your wiring, mabe you have a short or mabe the wiring harness came off your trunk release some how. Does your key fob button work on the trunk?

Check the fuse. 99% chance you blew it.

haha when i first read this, i thought he meant how to open it, if you were inside the trunk!


I wonder if mine opens from the inside?...

I'll have to go try that out tonight...I'll make sure to bring my cell phone just in case

I can. there is a huge hole if you take out the tools. As for the OP I am sure it is pribally something simple. Either a fuse like suggested or something came loose that opens the trunk.
