going to get a lip skirt soon, and want to avoid the "stuck on" look (where the tape is evident or has gaps) without having it molded on (will come later). Any advice?

yeah, make sure you buy the OEM lip, because anything else will have some degree of fitment issue...unless you get the one in a thousand lip that fits perfect.

mine has a few small gaps, i'm thinking some sort of color matched sealing tape along the seam that will mimic the molded look
