Did I say "bumper protector"?? I meant the radiator screen.

Has anyone found a more creative way of installing the Coastal Metals radiator screen other than their plastic ties? Some of my ties have "given out" - luckily two were still holding on! Seems like there should be a better way.

Coastal Metals supplied my bumper protector with bolts to fasten to existing spring nuts on underside of bumper. Hope this helps.

I cut out my vents but left a little tab on the sides to screw the side vents to.

Are you sure you have a Coastal Metals grill?

Their grills typically include the "L" brackets and allen screws.

I think he is talking about the side grills, not the main grill.

Even so. . .those are attached using two sided adhesive. Of course, baring that they are from Coastal Metals.

You could always check out your local hardware store and try and find some "L" brackets.
Mount them on the fins of the factory grille (in the center) and then use a screw to attach the new grille.

You can do the same on the side or just leave enough of a piece of the original brake duct to screw into.

I've got the grille tech grille and used tie wraps initially but have some "L" brackets I found and will swap out when I get the time.

(Grille tech grille and "L" brackets still come out alot cheaper than buying the coastal grille. JMHO)

Yes, just duplicate the Coastal Metals way. Buy a couple of L brackets at the hardware store. They will probably be too long so cut off each leg as needed. Spray paint them black. There are bolts near each end of centerl grill slat that you can use to mount the brackets. Then use a couple of screws thru the grill to mount it. If you have a tap and die set you can tap a hole in the vertical part of the L bracket and use a machine screw to hold grill in place. Otherwise you can use a sheet metal screw.
