Bike Rack?
Anyone know of a bike rack that is compatible with the S2000
Try not to blast me for this one but I am an avid mountain biker and am relying on my girldfriends car to get my bike to the trail.

Someone just posted a gag pic of a big homemade GT wing that was mounted on the trunk of an S with a bike rack. If you can find that thread, you might ask the person who owns ther car what kind it is. Also, have you checked out the yakima and thule websites? They usually have something that allows you to punch in your car and it will tell you exactly what they have to fit it. The saris bones is advertised as fitting any car as well.
I'm in the same situation, although I use my 4runner for mtn biking.
Only thing I can think of is a hardtop with racks drilled in(rola or saris...ouch) or one of the yakima trunk racks. Yakima states the mighty joe and the mo joe trunk racks will work, (www.yakima.com) but I'm guesing that if you have the rear spoiler it may be a problem. Plus I've never seen a trunk rack system that eventually doesn't scratch the car or an spd hits the paint...
I think it would be cool to mtn bike with my s2000 with a hardtop - why else would you use the hardtop?

This is how I mount mine:
The big "S" hooks go to the trunk lid seam below the rear window not the rubber coated edge of the soft top opening.
The side hooks go to the top trunk lid seams right before the edge turns downward.
The last set of hooks attach to a nice piece of metal on the back side of the bumper under the car. You will need to extend the straps almost all the way to make them reach and you will probably need to stick your head under the car the first time to find the metal lip that is just to the inside of the exhaust tips. Once you find this point the first time you will be able to attach it without crawling around under your car.
This whole process takes me about 5 minutes to get it all secured and knotted.
If this still dose not make sense I can take some photos of the rack on my car tomorrow for you.
