Default bike rider

Hey everyone.. summer is around the corner... and mountian or trail ride is a must for some..

I wonder what kind of bike rack does everyone have.. if you do use your s2k ?


I use to have a SUV.. and just mount everything on the hitch.. But now with the S2k.. what do you use?

ive seen someone running a rack that straps onto the trunk. not sure of the brand. itll be a pain to get stuff outta there though

"Picture pro" runs a rack and it does not leave scratches or marks on the car. PM him he is in the So Cal forum alot. He is a cool guy and would probably be willing to help you out

throw it in the back of my integra you could get a trunk mounted rack though.

You can also install a hitch on the S, hauling a bike on it won't effect anything.

I have a Yakima trunk rack I use for mine. I put rags between the rack and the car to protect the paint. This rack partially rest on the bumper so don't put to much weight on it. I've noticed the bumper give a little when the bikes were on the rack.

Other than that it works pretty good. Looks really funny though!!

and wow.. I didn't know you can install a hitch on the S.... lol.. that would look kinda weird.. hummmmm

also looking for bike rack ideas. i've seen the universal type, but not mounted on an s2k.

This is the rack that I have on my bike. It is capable of holding three bikes but I have only ever had two on it.

Yakima Big Joe 3

The hitch is the best solution but the bad news is it requires a heavy hitch.
