OP,

Check out the following link where myself and other owners use the S2K as a tow vehicle for tires, bikes, snowboards, and wakeboards.

This is the rack that I have on my bike. It is capable of holding three bikes but I have only ever had two on it.

Yakima Big Joe 3

The hitch is the best solution but the bad news is it requires a heavy hitch.
have you got any scratch on the car..

I don't have any scratches on the car from the rack. But I do take precautions and put a soft cloth on all the contact points. I don't want to take any chances.

I use a Saris Bones rack. No scratches as long as you clean the pads and the contact points on your bumper and trunk. If you super paranoid you can put on painters tape too.

Saris Bike racks

If you transport bike(s) a lot you might want to look into a tow hitch and hitch mounted rack.

Does anyone know if Honda has denied any warranty or extended warranty claims because of aftermarket hitch installation?

Is there ever an insurance issue if someone claims your car did more damage to his/hers than normal because of your hitch?

I searched and found lots of cool setups, but no info on this.

i think the best way to go about is to buy a folding bike.

I'm thinking about getting one. I think it justifies the price of the bike hitch and bike to get one that folds and fits in your trunk.

I'm sure you have to get rid of the tools on the bottom of the trunk, but that would be the way to go.

I'm looking at BMW Q3.S folding bike, but I'm not sure if it'll fold and fit in to our trunk.
