Hey SiDriver, hows it going? Haven't heard from you in a while...dam I wish I was as good with names as you are, I apologize but I can not recall yours, hence the cheesy opening I remembered last time we talked you said you were putting like 100 miles a night on your car...what are you up to now? I'm at 32,xxx and my lease is up in February so I think an '05 is on the way...
Hey, np, it's Paul - like it says in my sig lol. Right now, I'm at 38k, had the car for 16 months. My driving time dramatically went down, have been working crazy hours at work, I hate my job lol. Anything new? Later dude.

2002s2k,

do you think I spilled out too much of the oil for my product to be effective?

Hey Paul...how dense am I...it is right there huh! Its been busy here at work as well. I can't believe that amout of miles, at least we all know you are enjoying it. How many sets of tires thus far, still running SO-2's?

Jeff, if it was only 1/4 cup you should be fine unless you see a serious change in the consistency of the product. Unfortunately I can't send you some of the oil portion to add because it is actually very difficult to make the product and to add it directly would ruin it. Try it on a small section or the side or back of the seat and let me know if you notice any changes, I honestly think it won't even be a noticable difference, but please let me know.

I mean, the product seems more thick than before due to less oil, but if I apply it and rub it in, i guess it works, just not as effective...I guess I'll just apply more of it to get the same effect?

Thanks.

Hey Sean, the fronts are still originals, I'm on my second set of rear S-02s. For the winter (roughly Dec-Mar/April), I run LM-22s with sandbags in the trunk. KIT man.

I have been using Zaino Leather in a Bottle with excellent results. I put the treatment in my hands and rub it into the seats (i've used a cloth to apply, but it ends up soaking most of it up, resulting in waste). After a few minutes, I buff off the excess.

Hey Sidewinder just be careful applying with your hands, the whole point of putting the product to the towel first is that you need very little to do the job. Depending on how often you do this it could cause some harm to the finish...the product build-up could eventually become harmful. If you wish to continue this just wipe all the excess off very quickly so it all doesn't have time to penentrate in.

Thanks for the advice. That is what I do (clean it off before it penetrates fully). I only apply it with my clean hands because I tend to waste an awful lot of product when I apply it on a towel first.

I used some stuff from Griot's garage and it sucked. Leather got dry. Now using some with aloe and it has really helped the leather look better.
