I suppose taking the car up to 9 grand every so often (once a week or so) isn't a good idea then?

There are no problems revving the car on the up-shift. We hit a fuel cutoff to save us there.

hey peeps out there! i'm new to posting stuff here so my apologies if i make a fool of myself, but one of my buddies was telling me to do a jdm s2k motor swap to my y2k_s2k cause the motor is built better! that it has forged internals and whatnot! i haven't found anything online yet about this being true so if someone can enlighten me it would help me out and possibly kayvan make a decision!

Your buddy must not have an S2000. USDM and JDM both have forged internals. I would only get a JDM if your USDM motor needs to be replaced.
your totally right about that! hes a wrx owner! he was just telling me cause he just got a jdm motor swap and was ranting on about jdm is better or something or other! so than both the motors are the same!? does the jdm version offer any advantage at all but the fact that you can now say i have jdm swap!?!? do you guys know of a link or site were can read up on the motor so i dont have to ask alot of dumbass questions!?!? thanx!
