As of March 1st, Dealer remembered I was interested, in it when I inquired about it last year, now going to be an official colour.
Going to talk turkey later this week but I think its now a no-brainer, with expected insurance increase in September (post accident) and the loss in value of my 16 month beauty, I'll have a laugh at the dealers trade-in offer though.

Hi guys,

Am waiting until 1st March when I get my UK spec Monte Carlo blue s2000. When I was looking into the different colour options I was not told by Honda that this was to be a UK colour.

In the end went with a garage that used to be a Honda Dealer (27 years). I will get the car with the 3 year unlimited warranty (though not through Honda through the garage), for GBP1750 less than the best deal I could get through Honda for a silver one, this with trading in an integra type r.

p.s. have either of you got or thinking of getting a Hardtop.

Paul

UK Paul,

Yeah actually approx GBP 2250 cheaper with the metallic paint, but Honda were willing to come down GBP500 to try and get the sale.

The Hard top looks good, but I have seen the pictures of the Mugen Hardtop which I prefer the lines of, just wondering how you would get that hardtop over here.
