If this trend continues and I don't re-fill the engine oil, it's obvious that my engine cannot survive untill 7500 miles (which is Honda's recommendation for changing the oil completely under "normal" conditions)? So that means it's quite "common" to be re-filling the engine oil frequently like I'm about to do now (btw I'm at 2030 miles now mostly "long, pleasure drives with not much VTECing")?

Curiously enough, the recommended 1st oil change under "severe" condition was at 3500 miles per manual (this is more closer to my milage) and I don't think I've put my car into any "severe" conditions particularily ?

I'm no expert at this but going down to just one notch above Low level in ~2000 miles seems quite extreme. Is this a characteristics of this engine? And why the sudden STOP in the oil appetite? Any one have any idea? Thanks again.
