breaking in new gears

Default breaking in new gears

what kind of driving can and can't u do during and for how long?

if you got 4.57 gears:

you MUST do 3 heat cycles BEFORE you even drive the car normally. it's the first thing that must be done right after the gears are finished being installed.

to do this: drive for 10 miles. stop/rest for about 30 minutes. do this 3 times.

after that, drive the car as if you were breaking it in for the first 500 miles. no hard accelerating.

after that, get the diff fluid changed out, check it for anything major, and then let 'er rip!

thank you, Wisconsin. is it ok to not change the diff fluid afterwards? how does the reinforced housing help? hoping to get the gears soon.
