wow... that's cool.. would love to have one..

I built a Subaru Brat a lot of years back.. upgraded the motor to the 540 and regeared the transmission .. it was my first R/C car.. had lots of fun with it.. just hated to wait for the batteries to charge up.. had the slow AC charger and the quick 12v charger.. bad accident busted one of the front suspension pieces (plastic).. been broke ever since..

then I built a 4 wheel drive gas buggie.. that was a blast..

would like to find the S2000 in gas version..

looking good dan. after reading/watching this thread, i got the tamiya monkey on my back. couldn't get him off, so i bought some tamiya.

so far, i've purchased a tamiya grasshopper (apparently, it sucks ass, but i got a great deal $50), tamiya toyota celica (fwd chassis), and drum roll please....a tamiya honda s2000.

now, i just need to buy some receivers and a transmitter. dan, which one did you buy?

Sweet! Let us know when you build your Tamiya S2K too!

I don't know if I will run mines yet but if I do, it will be a cheap and old Futaba Magnum Sport radio. I use my Hitec Lynx 3D and multiple receivers for my higher end nitro RC's.

Painting the outside of the roof for that "ragtop" look. It was a huge pain in the ass to do and easy to mess up. Thankfully it turned out ok, but the window decals have a hard time sticking onto the roof paint.

OK, 99% DONE!! I Just need to trim the ugly smoke stacks (body posts) and thats about it.
