Default Bumper high

Hello

I will get a new s2000 in 2 weeks, but I have a simple problem of parking.

Does anybody can measured for me on a model after 2004, the distance between the ground and the front bumper?

because I have a civic type R, with coilover and threaded it is too low to enter the garage. I have 13 cm on my civic from the ground (0.426 509 186 35 feet or 5.118 110 236 2 inch)

and I also want to put coilover on my s, I need that height to rent the parking lot, otherwise I have to find another parking.

And the problem is I have to give my answer for rental tomorrow morning.

Thank you for helping me and said me if you have coilover, springs or stock

Thank you very much

Sorry for my english, I speak better in french

I have crawled around and measured. To the best of my ability, the height in question is 6 inches. That is identical to the front spoiler ground clearance for current edition BMW 330i, 325i, 335i.

Note: My S2000 is an Ap1, but I don't think Ap2 has any less ground clearance.

My S2000 and BMW's are (were) all completely factory. No mods.

If you put coilovers on, even with them adjusted to full height it will probably be at least 1/2" to 1" lower than stock. So around 5" - 5.5" maximum. If your Civic is 5" and won't get in the garage, I doubt the S would either.

yeah most springs lower between 1.5-2 inches. You're definitely going to have issues gettign into your current garage.
