I am about to purchase a black 2003 S2000 from a dealer. The car has 11,000 miles and they are willing to sell for $23,500. Is this a good deal?
The only downside is a few rub marks on the driver side rocker panel from shoes(?) getting in and out of the car.

Is there anything else I should be aware of or check out before purchasing the car?

I just did basically the same deal you did. 03' with 14k miles on it for 23,500 and I thought it was a good deal. You can get it certified from Honda for just over 300 dollars, might have the dealer throw that in (if its a honda dealer) It extends the warranty to 4/48 . . . any real problem would certainly appear during that time.

That rub mark just happens, I'm really short 5'6, but if your close to 6 feet, its hard not to do, so I wouldn't worry about that.

 

try to get em down a bit , but buy it
