Keep in mind that the MY02 and later has a rear glass window and other improvements that probably are worth the extra $.

 

I'd say the MY02 with only 4K. Run a Carfax to make sure it's clean and if you can, a compression test. But..you would have plenty of warranty left so I wouldn't worry.

Will they budge on the $26,900? If not, is it Honda Certified?..cuz that would be an Amazing deal if it was.

Ran the carfax on the MY02, clean, one owner...dealer refuses to budge on the 26.9k...not Honda certified, but still under factory warranty...

Are there any low mileage MY02's going for less?...I'm looking but I can't see 'em...which doesn't mean anything...

 

$26.9K is a good price -- exactly what I paid last month for an '02 with slightly fewer miles. Based on my experience, and weeks of exhaustive reasearch and shopping, I'd say grab it. Consider the extended Honda Care warranty if you need a little peace of mind. (You can probably get the 6-year/75K mile extension for around $750.) Good luck!

 

What's wrong with a Certified Used Honda S2000 with a wanranty? I haven't heard stories from used car owners that are any worse than stories from new car owners. An S2k can have 15 miles on it and have already been abused.
