Buying an S2k

I wasn't sure what "silver" my '06 was either until I was advised to look at the paint code in the passenger door jam.
NH-630M is Silverstone. The interior was easier to decode. Color Black is on the sticker.
Noted over the weekend my top is wearing in the inside in the same area. Top mechanism has a burr there that's wearing a thin hole. Temporary patch on the inside now. Nothing shows on the outside.

But yeah, I can see where my roof is wearing from the top mechanism - I need to look into deburring it before more patches will be needed...

Couldn't wait so I checked the passenger side and sure enough: Silverstone
Found a goodie though! When I closed the passenger door and looked over to the other side of the car, I noticed this tucked away behind the driver's seat in the pouch for the soft top!

Sweet, did you check the secret compartment? The PO of my 02 left all kinds of stuff in there for me to find. Since I am a nice guy, I sent it back to her.

Muahahhahahhaha. I succeeded! Lowering the amount of idiots asking $25k+ for their ten year old cars one day at a time.
This was yesterday at 3pm CST right before I left work for the day.
This is this morning as of 7am CST.
I wish I had taken a screenshot two weeks ago when I emailed them about the issue. That same 2008 with 20k miles in "very good" condition was showing up as $28.3k. So a drop of $2800 in value over a two week period. Not bad at all if I do say so myself. Sure it isn't the full $4k price difference but at least KBB's pricing is now more in line with reality and I won't have to suffer dealing with idiots thinking their 2005 S2000 is still worth $25k...and an extra $2k if it happens to be GPW.
