C6 vs S2k
All up to you, just want to say you can't forget this when buying a house.
Your house goes up $90k, but you don't really ever get that money back. You sell it, you need to buy another house that went up 90k as well. You only get it back if you downsize, which most people don't.
My goal is to pay off the mortgage completely, pay off my car completely I want to do this as fast as possible so that I don't NEED to work a high paying job if something were to happen.

Another possibility: buy the Corvette, drive it for three years, then sell it for what you paid for it. Would you still feel guilty?
The cost for the s2k after 2 years in depreciation alone would be 4k. Not including another 2k for interest. Ofcourse you'll have a higher monthly payment with the corvette but it would pay for it's self when you sell it.
And this doesn't touch the fact that warranty could save you even more on the vette. Most used s2ks in the price you're looking at will need some sort of maintence. (tires, clutch, 60k service, etc.)
It really depends if you want to have a high monthly cost for a 2 year gain.
